Char Dhaam- 10 Day



Day 1: Arrival in Dehradun to Barkot (Approximately 7 hours)

           after arriving at the Dehradun Airport. After a sumptuous breakfast, set out on a beautiful journey to Barkot, passing through the charming hill town of Mussoorie. Take a pleasant side trip to Mussoorie's famous Kempty Falls along the way to see the gushing waters pouring down the steep rocks. Capture the splendour of this natural wonder and delight in the cooling atmosphere near the falls. After the tour, continue travelling to Barkot, where you will arrive and check into a pleasant hotel. Barkot's tranquil settings are the perfect place to unwind and rest while getting ready for the activities that are ahead. Enjoy a pleasant night's sleep as you get ready for the following Chardham Yatra leg.

Day 2: Barkot to Yamunotri and back (Approximately 9 hours)

           Early in the morning, start your day by driving to Jankichatti. Set off on a beautiful 6-kilometer hike from Jankichatti to the sacred site of Yamunotri. Enjoy the tranquilly of the natural surroundings as you walk around the lovely pathways. When you get in Yamunotri, bathe in the holy Yamuna River's waters to cleanse yourself, then pay your respects at the revered Yamunotri Temple, which is devoted to the Goddess Yamuna. Take in the divine atmosphere and ask the god for his blessings. Start the trip back to Jankichatti when the darshan is finished. Drive back to Barkot from there, where you can spend the night amidst the tranquil splendour of the Himalayas. Rest properly and get ready for your next spiritual step.

Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi to Gangotri to Utterkashi (Approximately 11  hours)

           After a satisfying breakfast, set out on a beautiful drive to Uttarkashi. Once you arrive in Uttarkashi, check into your accommodation and give yourself some time to unwind. Later, visit the renowned Vishwanath Temple, which is devoted to Lord Shiva, to learn more about the city's spiritual side. As you say your prayers, awe at the magnificent construction and take in the tranquil environment. To ensure adequate time at this holy location, the drive will start early. Visit the famed Gangotri Temple, which is devoted to Goddess Ganga, when you get there. As you pray, awe at the beauty of the architecture and experience the presence of God all around you. Don't pass up the chance to take a holy bath in the Ganges River's pure waters, which are said to cleanse the soul. Drive back to Uttarkashi after completing the darshan and feeling the spiritual aura. Retire to the comfort of your hotel in Uttarkashi for the evening, taking time to consider the day's spiritual encounters and get ready for the next leg of your Chardham Yatra.

Day 4: Uttarkashi to Sonprayag (Approximately 10 hours)

            After a delectable breakfast, travel to Sonprayag along a beautiful route. Be ready to be amazed by the majestic Himalayas' stunning majesty as you travel the twisting roadways. Admire the majestic vistas that appear before you, providing nature lovers with a visual feast as you pass by towering peaks, verdant valleys, and unspoiled landscapes. Once you arrive in Sonprayag, check into your accommodation and give yourself some time to unwind. Take in the peaceful atmosphere of this holy town, revered for its spiritual significance. During your nighttime stay in Sonprayag, sleep quietly as you get ready for the Chardham Yatra's next holy experiences.

Day 5: Sonprayag to Kedarnath to Sonprayag (Approximately 12 Hrs By Horse)

             Take a thrilling Horse travel (Ride) to Kedarnath to start your day early, which is where the Kedarnath Temple—one of the Char Dhams—is located. When you arrive, take in the spiritual ambiance and make your prayers at the revered Lord Shiva temple. As you participate in darshan and ask for blessings, you can feel the spiritual energy pervading the space.. As soon as you get in Sonprayag, check into your accommodation and unwind. During your overnight stay, consider the day's deep experiences and get ready for the next stage of your Chardham Yatra..

Day 6: Sonprayag to Triugi Narayanan to Ukhimath (Approximately 7-8 hours)

Today visit : Triyugi narayanan temple, Kali maa temple, ukhimath shivan temple. Noght stay at ukimath.

 

Day 7: Sonprayag to Thungnath to Joshimath (Approximately 7-8 hours)

             Enjoy a delicious breakfast before setting out on a picturesque trip to Joshimath, a key stop along the Chardham Yatra. Visit the well-known Ugimath and Thunganath temples along the journey; they are of great religious and cultural value. Observe the stunning architecture and take in the sacred atmosphere of these respected locations. As you continue travelling, you will arrive in Joshimath, where you can check into a hotel. Then, make your way to the famed Narashmiha Temple, which is devoted to Lord Vishnu. Make a prayer offering and ask the god for benefits. 

 

Day 8: Joshimath to Badrinath  (Approximately 7 hours)

Enjoy a delicious breakfast before setting out on a picturesque trip to Badrinath, a key stop along the Chardham Yatra. Visit the well-known Hanumathchetti, Yoga badri and Mana village temples along the journey; they are of great religious and cultural value. Observe the stunning architecture and take in the sacred atmosphere of these respected locations. As you continue travelling, you will arrive in Badrinath, where you can check into a hotel. Take a holy dip in the Tapt Kund, a natural hot spring thought to have purifying effects, and immerse yourself in the sacred ambience. Then, make your way to the famed Badrinath Temple, which is devoted to Lord Vishnu. Make a prayer offering and ask the god for benefits. 

 

Day 9: Badrinath to Srinagar (Approximately 9 hours)

            After a hearty breakfast, take a beautiful journey to Srinagar, a city renowned for its spiritual importance. Once you arrive at Srinagar, check into your hotel and give yourself some time to unwind. Later, visit the meeting of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers to fully experience the beautiful ambiance. See how these holy rivers merge at their majestic meeting place to provide a spellbinding scene. Take a minute to enjoy the peace and sense the energising spiritual force that emerges from this holy convergence. After that, make your way back to your Srinagar guesthouse for a restful night while you contemplate the heavenly harmony and get ready for the following leg of your Chardham Yatra.

 

Day 10 Srinagar to Rishikesh to Dehradun to Chennai (Approximately 9 hours)

Travel to Rishikesh, a spiritual hub on the banks of the Ganges. On the way Visit : Devprayag & Other temples.

 

Explore the spiritual and adventure activities in Rishikesh, including ashrams, temples, and Triveni ghat. Travel to Dehradun.

 

Dehradhun to Chennai by Flight travel. Reach Chennai at 21.00 Hrs.
